How Testing Works
From test to understanding
Testing should not end at a confusing lab report. Here is how the Saathya testing journey works, from choosing a test to tracking your health over time.

Step by stepThe testing journey
Choose a test or membership
Pick an individual test or panel, or a preventive membership for baseline and repeat testing.
Review any preparation
Some tests need preparation, such as fasting. Any preparation is shown clearly before you book.
Arrange your collection
Choose a collection that works for you. Details are confirmed at booking.
Complete sample collection
Your sample is collected and sent to the laboratory for analysis.
Receive your results
Your results are delivered to your Saathya account when ready.
Understand your results
Results are explained in plain language, so a raw lab report becomes something you can act on.
Discuss results where useful
If you want to discuss your results, you will be able to book an independent consultation.
Retest when relevant
Where included in a membership, or clinically relevant, retest to see change over time.
Track changes over time
Your markers are tracked over time so trends — not just single results — are visible.
What we don't assumeHonest about the details
Specific turnaround times, collection locations, preparation instructions and retest schedules will be confirmed when the catalogue launches. We confirm these at booking rather than guessing in advance.
Any preparation guidance comes from the actual test catalogue or authoritative clinical guidance — never assumed.
