Consult a physiotherapist

Consult a qualified physiotherapist for movement, strength, pain and rehabilitation support.

Prelaunch — early-access waitlist open

How it helpsWhat you can discuss

  • Movement, strength and flexibility
  • Muscle or joint pain and stiffness
  • Posture and ergonomic concerns
  • Rehabilitation after injury
  • Safe, progressive activity for your goals

How it worksIndependent and consent-based

A physiotherapist consultation is independent — you do not need a Care Plan to book one. With your consent, relevant health context can be shared so guidance is appropriate for you.

Some concerns require in-person, hands-on assessment. A physiotherapist will tell you when that is the case and guide you on the right next step.

Before your consultationHow to prepare

  • A description of the pain, stiffness or movement problem — where it is, when it started and what makes it better or worse
  • Any relevant reports — imaging (X-ray, MRI), previous physiotherapy or surgical notes — which you can choose to share with your consent
  • Your current activity level, work setup and any previous injuries
  • Comfortable clothing in case the physiotherapist asks you to demonstrate movements on video
  • Your goals and the questions you most want answered

What to expectThe consultation and afterward

The physiotherapist assesses your movement and symptoms through discussion and, on video, guided movement. They explain likely contributing factors and demonstrate exercises or activity modifications suited to you.

Afterward you receive a summary and, where appropriate, a home exercise plan with progressions. Some problems genuinely need hands-on, in-person assessment or treatment — the physiotherapist will tell you when that is the case and guide you accordingly.

Honest limitsScope and boundaries

  • Video assessment has limits — hands-on examination and manual therapy are not possible online
  • Red-flag symptoms (for example loss of bladder or bowel control, progressive limb weakness, or severe unremitting night pain) need urgent in-person medical assessment
  • A physiotherapist does not diagnose fractures or prescribe medication
  • This is not an emergency service; for acute severe injury seek urgent in-person care
